Before we can consider your application you MUST open a bank account with BOTH Tide Business Bank & Zempler Business Bank using the links below.
We will send you a link to a short online application form shortly. The competition will open on December 1st 2024 and you can submit the online form and upload your business plan and pitch deck up to December 24th 2024 at midnight.
To qualify for entering into this Startup Angel Investment, you MUST open and activate a free business bank account BOTH with Tide bank AND Zempler Bank using the links provided by the Startup Factory. These accounts can be opened in a few minutes online using the links provided. When the business accounts are opened, simply deposit £100.00 into each account to activate your accounts. Then you can use these accounts for your business. You must be a UK business to enter this competition with confirmation that both bank accounts have been opened through our link AND that you have activated the accounts.
We do this to validate your business legitimacy, to make sure that your business is genuine and meets some simple qualifying criteria, that you are UK based and a number of other things. This saves us lots of time when determining which companies are genuinely applying for Angel Investment Support. Pus, we receive a small fee from each account that is opened and activated which we use to subsidise the competition. Most businesses operate a trading account, an office account and a reserve tax account and it is wise to spread these accounts over a couple of banks.
You will be asked to provide proof of account registration and activation in the Startup Factory Startup Angel Investment Application form.
Remember, this is our private Angel Investment. You are applying for to enter competition and we will select the business or businesses that we want to invest in from the applications submitted, if we find a suitable business. Application does not entitle you to funding. But we will consider all valid applications for Angel Investment Funding fairly.

Remember, you MUST open and activate a business bank account with BOTH of these banks so that we know that your business is legitimate. This saves us a tremendous amount of time in screening businesses that we deal with. If you cannot open a bank account with BOTH of these business banks, then we cannot invest in your business. If you don’t want to open a bank account with BOTH of these banks for any reason, then that is perfectly fine. But, you will not be eligible to enter this competition.
As mentioned above, we DO receive a small fee for referring you to these banks and opening accounts. We use this fee to subsidise the cost of running the competition so when you open these accounts you are helping us to help you and businesses like yours.
